Mountain Go-karting on the Hochwurzen – approx. 15 min. walk from the hotel

Pure adventure right on our doorstep! The 7 km nature trail down into the valley promises thrills for the whole family. Children from 1.45 m (min. 10 years old) can drive themselves, whilst younger children ride safely on their parents’ laps.

Tip: Don’t forget sturdy footwear!

Wild Wild West Children’s Festival (approx. 5 min. drive)

Every Monday, the nearby Seiterhof is transformed into a Wild West village. With pony rides, a campfire and two hours of professional childcare (a break for parents!), fun is guaranteed.

Waldhäuslalm Children’s Afternoon (approx. 12 min. drive to Untertal)

The child-friendly Waldhäuslalm is located in Untertal, on the way to the Wilde-Wasser Trail. Every Tuesday afternoon during the summer holidays, a spectacular children’s party takes place here. A huge playground, lots of animals, a fishing pond, a children’s go-kart track and a raft await you there. The party also features lots of games and skill stations, as well as face painting. No booking is required.

Tip: Have lunch there before the party or dinner afterwards.

Family hiking: Flat & suitable for pushchairs

Mushroom Nature Trail (approx. 2 min. walk to the Hochwurzen valley station):
Starting from the Hochwurzen cable car valley station, the Mushroom Nature Trail winds its way through the forest. Local mushrooms are depicted in oversized form. You’ll learn in a fun way which ones are edible and which aren’t.

Rohrmoos Fairy Tale Trail – starts right at the hotel:
A beautiful panoramic trail with views of Schladming and the Dachstein. A trail featuring fairy-tale characters crafted with great skill, ideal for the whole family with a wide variety of play equipment for younger visitors.

Talbach-Klamm (approx. 8 min. drive to the start):
A safe and easy-to-walk gorge trail leading down to the valley floor; follow the stream upstream – a magnificent natural spectacle with many impressive spots by the water.

Styrian Lake Constance (approx. 25 min. by car):
Starting point: Seewigtal car park, walking path to the popular Styrian Lake Constance; can be extended with a lovely circular lake walk; cosy place to stop for refreshments.
